So here are some of the creations that I have put together- hopefully in the near future will be able to sell. I'm going to be putting them on www.etsy.com and I have a facebook page that I have created for anything colourful :)

Below is my button hole wrist cuff...

These are some headbands that I have put together- these are only drafts but there are more to come....

This is my head wrap with different colours and beads dangling off the ends...

These are my Chirpy dolls- inspired by one of my best friends who was having a bad few days, so wanting to brighten her day I came up with these and she loves hers....

This is a 20"x20" canvas that I have made into a material collage. It sits up in my lounge room and gets recognized everytime by people coming over- it adds a splash of vibrant colour on any wall....

This is a spiral bracelet that I made with my mum a few years ago and still make for my friends- full of colour and goes wonderfully with anything.....

I have brought alive dull singlets with a splash of colour- this one being a massive flower. Great for the weekend chilling....

Here are some cards that I made for my parents and Nick's parents for allowing us to stay over when we last had our trip back to Perth. I make cards all the time for all sorts of occasions- there is nothing like home made cards I love them :)

Dedicated now!!!

It's been awhile since i have blogged- in fact not since I started the blog up with help from my mum :) I have now got the time and energy to spend on the things that i love to do. My creative flow has come back and i'm very excited to get back into it.

I feel that 2010 is going to be the year for changes!! I am reading Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach. Mum gave me this book years ago when I was a teenager- she had read it and thought it was wonderful. Being the teenager that I was I wasn't really into reading a book that was going to make me look at life differently- I was more concerned about shopping, boys and friends!!
However I have found the book hidden with all my other books and think that now is as better time as any to start reading it. I have learnt a lot through these past years with help from my partner nick and my family. I have grown up a lot and realised what my passions in life are and what I'm good at. So that is why i have started reading this book and making changes in my life that will make me more of a positive, happier, motivated person. My mum is very right about this book- but my mum has been very right about a lot things :)

So in 2010 I am going to make the time to spend on what I really enjoy doing- craft.I got this bug from my mum who in my eyes is totally fantastic at what she does. She is my craft idol- she is very talented. I would one day love to be a good as she is :) So my practice starts now and it just gives me a buzz and sense of achievement when i'm creating. I could do this all day every day.
Above is my very first quilt top with Amy Butler fat quarters given to be by my mum for my birthday last year. I can't wait to finish it and parade it in my house.

Stay tuned cause next post i'll be showing off what i have been making :)
