Christmas, New Year and New Name x

Welcome 2013!!!

Happy New Year everyone :)

Poppy & Lulu have a new name and as you can see from the new blog title it is 'love dani'.

As I explained on my facebook page- which has now changed to love dani as well (you should of seen the excitement at 4am in the morning when I got the email from facebook while feeding Lucy!!) that I had done some internet research awhile ago at mum and dads and came across another page that had a very similar name to that of Poppy & Lulu. This lady is very crafty indeed and makes some beautiful things that are a little similar to some of the things that I am making. She sells her goodies at the markets in Perth that I hope to one day sell at and I only hope that she continues her creating and selling when I eventually get back to perth :) I like being different and don't like treading on toes so a name change was the right thing to do and I love it!!

It's all final now as I have registered the name and really becoming a little business- very little one at that though :)

I hope that everyone had a wonderful christmas as we did. We went down to perth for christmas and spent some real quality time with family!!

Lucy loved opening her presents and she was very spoilt!!

We spent some time down at mum and dads little shack in Halls Heads right next to the beach- whenever you are there you feel a million miles away and instantly relaxed- i absolutely love that place!!

She is a beauty though.

While we were down in Perth Nick wanted to get a new mountain bike and this is what we came home with:

A bike for me!! (Nick is still waiting for his bike to be delivered hehe). There was no intention for me to get a bike but she was displayed at the front of the shop and she is green- I love green!! She is perfect and I can't wait to ride her :) Her name is Poppy- I have a poppy now.

So I have a very handy husband but i also have a very creative husband as well! He made me this beautiful mood board for love dani that i can put up all my inspiration piccys up. He knew that I wanted one but he went and chose the fabric, buttons, and ribbon himself and made this for me for christmas. I love it and i love him xx

And of course being in Perth means a trip or two to Calico and Ivy with mum! I even worked the morning there with mum on christmas eve and I had a blast- loved it!!

This is what I have for this years stall props and fabric for creating that i bundles into the car for the trip to Karratha- eek i'm just a tad excited.

I'll pop up some photos of my friends Sarahs wedding that we went to while down there. It was beautiful and she was beautiful :)

Fair to say that  LOVED my shoes- I don't get to wear pretty high heels often :) It was a wonderful day and all the best in the future Sarah and Neil you make a beautiful couple!!

Here is what i made on the weekend: Fabric covered bottles that would look perfect in the middle of the table as a vase or put anywhere for a splash of colour or funk!! I love them and think i might make more and sell them- what do you think?

Sooo Busy.. But absolutely LOVE it!!!

Wow what a busy past few months it has been for Poppy & Lulu!! 

Everyone is getting ready for christmas and I 'm so delighted that people are thinking to give p&l goodies to loved ones :) And all the positive feedback that I am receiving just makes this journey so fulfilling x

Here are some pictures of the recent market that I had and it was the best one yet!! 

I have sooo many ideas on how to set up my stalls next year- it will be bigger and better and so dani!!

Here are some props that I got delivered today and I'm so excited to grab some more jazzy pieces to funk up the stall when we are down in Perth over Christmas.

And this is just the beginning- Yay :)

I also picked these babies up and stay tuned with what I'm going to do with these- again props for the stall and will look super duper cute!

I also picked up a vintage dresser for Lucy's room that we will fix up and spruce up all for $30- Bargain!!!

Well Poppy & Lulu will be great next year and I really hope you all love it.

Next year will include bunting for boys and girls and I'm thinking a little bit of personalisation would be good!!

Then there are the ever popular earrings and rings!! New styles with new fabrics- squealing with excitement.
